HIST 394 Digital Humanities: A Practicum
This course will be a student-led practicum in which we will digitize and edit a memoir held by CUA's Archives. We will use SCALAR to create an electronic, publicly available edition of the text. Students will also annotate, introduce, and add ancillary material to the memoir, including a map (using ArcGIS) and images. No prior knowledge of digital tools is necessary, and students will receive public acknowledgement of their work in the edition.
