Normal Course Load and Over-Electing

  • Full-time status requires a minimum of 12 credit hours.
  • A normal course load is 15-16 credit hours.
  • Students who meet one of the following criteria are eligible to over-elect by taking up to 20 credit hours:
    • 3.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA); or
    • 3.00 semester grade point average (GPA) in prior semester based on minimum of 15 credit hours; or
    • Students with senior status.
