TRS 309 Wisdom from the Sages of Israel

This course will focus on the Old Testament wisdom books, exploring their historical and social settings as well as each book's theology. Particular attention will be paid to the themes of creation, justice, suffering, the cultivation of virtue, and what it means to live "the good life".
