MGT 380 International Business & Marketing in Asia

Spring Semester Only. This course is intended to provide students with an introduction to business environments in the Asia-Pacific region, with particular focus on China. Students will learn the characteristics that make Chinese and other Asian markets unique, the challenges of operating a business in these markets, and cultural and historical knowledge necessary for building lasting relationships with Asian consumers. The aim of this course is to allow students to gain expertise in one of the fastest growing markets in the world today. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to identify the basic opportunities and risks businesses face in the Asia-Pacific region.
