NURS 757D Adult Gerontology Acute Care 2
This course is the builds on the adult-gerontologic content for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) program. Students will gain an understanding of how to recognize, diagnose, and manage adolescents, adults and geriatric patients with acute, critical, and/or complex chronic illnesses which affects the physical, psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual dimensions of clients in acute care settings. Implementation of the AGACNP role in a collaborative practice model is emphasized.
