NURS 916D Seminar in Nursing Scholarship
This initial doctoral-level course socializes and orients the student to academic scholarship in preparation for the conduct of independent research and evidence-based practice as well as for future roles as nurse scholars, scientists, and leaders in the nursing profession. The content provides a basis for DNP and Ph.D. continuing study in research, theory development, technical scholarly writing, policy development, information technology, business principles, and specialized advanced nursing practice.
