SOC 361 Migration and Immigrant Communities

This course examines migration and immigration in the international and U.S. context. Sociological theories of race and ethnicity, gender, urban theory, economic and cultural sociology, are used to analyze the incorporation of immigrants into the U.S. civic fabric. U.S. policy and attitudes towards immigrants and immigration are examined.
