HIST 222A Global Europe since 1789
This course provides an overview of the history of Modern Europe since the French Revolution in a global context. It looks at the many relations between Europe and other continents, including European colonial empires, European trade networks, and focuses on ways Europe was shaped by this relationships and how Europeans influenced other parts of the world and set international standards until it destroyed its dominant position in two world wars.
