TRS 849A Holy Spirit and the Liturgy: A Seminar

A doctoral seminar examining the role of the Holy Spirit in Christian liturgy. After a survey of the doctrine of pneumatology over the centuries, the seminar will examine the liturgical texts and rites of both East and West to distill from the Church's liturgy the theological understanding of the Spirit's role therein. The research projects expected of the participants will likely require the use of either Latin or Greek.
