TRS 550A Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religious Studies - Teaching Assistantships
This course is the first in a three-part series of Teaching and Learning courses in Theology and Religious Studies. The first course introduces students to a variety of pedagogical theories and teaching practices geared toward becoming an effective Teaching Assistant in undergraduate courses in Theology and Religious Studies. Topics include: effectively leading student discussions, assessing student submissions, classroom diversity, variations in learning styles, and student motivation techniques. Students will be actively leading the class and teaching while receiving instructor and peer feedback.
