BE 503 The Fusion of Food, Nutrition and Medicine for Health and Long Life

Eating is one of the most engaging activities that we all participate in on a daily basis. However, we often neglect important details about what we eat, how much we eat, when we eat, and even why we eat what we eat. The ability to understand food, nutrition and the good choices that we make in life related to food can pay big dividends for a long healthy life. In this course, we will take a deep dive and ask some critically important questions related to the foods that we eat, how they are metabolized in our body and the long term impact of our food choices on health and quality of life.
