ME 578 Ocean Acoustics

The course provides a comprehensive introduction on the ocean acoustics and acoustical oceanography. The topics covered ranging from physical principles of underwater acoustics to applications of sound to find fish, submarines, and study the ocean. Students will be required to carry out a research project and to report their findings.
