EDUC 357 Jesus The Teacher: Parables, Proverbs, and Metaphors

This course will explore the Scriptures to discover Jesus' understanding of human nature, his qualities as teacher, and his notion of the Kingdom of God as the basis for the Church's perspective on education. The course will address the Catholic understanding of teaching as a vocation and the role of the Catholic lay teacher in schools.
