ART 601 Artistic Development in Art Education

This course investigates art and design education's role in artistic development, with consideration for learner's cognitive, biological, sensory, socio-cultural, and social-emotional differences and abilities. Through a human-centered, culturally responsive, social justice lens, students develop deeper abilities to nurture artistic development in various settings for diverse learners across the life span. Provides opportunities for creatively differentiating instruction and curriculum to enrich growth and facilitate access to learning through art for all.
