  1. While majors are not offered in the following subjects, course sequences are provided, making it possible in most instances to meet the requirements for graduate study or for professional certification: 
    1. Library and Information Science
    2. Semitic and Egyptian Languages
  2. The Department of Education offers programs leading to teacher certification at the early childhood and elementary levels, and--through joint programs with subject-area departments--at the secondary level. Secondary education programs are available in English, History/Social Studies, and Mathematics. (For Music Education and Art Education programs, see the Benjamin T.
