IRSH 102 Beginners Irish Language & Culture II

Irish 102 builds on what students have learned during their first semester of Irish to further expand oral communication, writing, reading, and listening skills. The course introduces additional grammar and vocabulary and it continues to prepare students to deal with basic communicative tasks in Irish. Students will read and discuss texts from a variety of text types to learn more about various aspects of the culture and lifestyle found in the Irish-speaking regions, including issues of everyday life and topics of cultural importance, such as music and sport. Irish 103 and 104 satisfy CUA's language requirement.
