CLAS 233 Ancient Medicine and Medical Terminology

Studies Greek and Roman approaches to medicine and ideas about the human body, including the works of Hippocrates and Galen, and compares those concepts to modern medical knowledge. Presents an organized approach to Greek and Latin word-roots to aid in the analysis of modern medical terminology.
