ART 222 Digital and Social Media Design

Students will explore the fundamentals of digital media design, graphic design, creative marketing, and social media engagement in this introductory course. Students work with the industry-standard Adobe Creative Suite, honing skills in visual expression and creative problem-solving for modern communication challenges. From brand identities to data visualizations and time-based social media content, students learn to amplify their concepts and craft engaging visual expressions for the age of social media. Through hands-on projects, students develop practical expertise while gaining insight into the evolving landscape of digital art and design. Fulfills Explorations in Fine Arts course requirement and counts towards the Digital Art & Design Certificate.
