An in-depth analysis of prehistoric imagery through examination of portable art objects and monuments in their archaeological contexts. Emphasizes approaches to uses of style in archaeology, analysis of material culture, and interpretation of material remains of cultures ranging from the Paleolithic to the colonial era.
