MATH 521 Introductory Analysis I

Infinite sets and cardinality; the real number system; introduction to metric space topology including convergence of sequences, compactness, continuity and uniform continuity of functions on metric spaces; Bolzano-Weierstrass theorem; Heine-Borel theorem; differentiation and Taylor's theorem for a function of one real variable; Riemann integral of a function of one real variable; sequences and series of real numbers and functions; interchange of limit operations.
