ARPL 736 Systems and Simulation II
This course introduces students to building energy modeling and energy optimization techniques using the EnergyPlus whole-building energy simulation program. This course is intended to build on the knowledge and skills gained in Systems and Simulation I. Students will practice whole-building energy simulation, including the hourly simulation of dynamic thermal envelope loads and system simulations; and explore various energy efficiency measures to optimize the envelope and system performance of their projects.
