ARPL 530 Lighting Analysis

This course aims at providing the tools necessary to integrate lighting in the overall design of a building. Through an optimized use of natural and artificial lighting, a building's environmental impacts can be reduced significantly while improving energy efficiency, and the well-being and visual comfort of the occupants. This course will be taught in three modules: fundamentals, measurement, and systems integration, in a lecture / application hybrid format so students may benefit from experience while learning about lighting design strategies.
