Minor Programs

The Busch School of Business offers minor & certificate programs for both Busch School students and students throughout the University in the areas of Accounting; Actuarial Science; Entrepreneurship; Family Business; Financial Management; International Business; Management; Marketing Management; Markets, Human Rights, and Civil Society; Performing Arts Management; Sales; and Sports Management.

Requirements are different depending on whether a student is within or outside the Busch School.

Most within-school minors are now only available to business students completing the Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BS) degree. Business students completing the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) will complete a co-specialization. The exception is the Actuarial Sciences Minor, which is open to both BSBA and BSA students.

In each of the within-school minors, only a maximum of two courses can overlap with the required core, major or math/computer/statistics courses. Thus, one may only need an additional four courses to minor within the school. Those who may be interested in multiple minors within the school should consult with the Busch School Academic Services.

Please note, where minors indicate elective courses additional electives may be approved by the minor’s Area or Program Director.
