SPAN 103HC Spanish for HealthCare I
SPAN 103 is the first of the two intermediate-level courses designed for students who wish to expand their basic language knowledge and skills. It covers topics such as fashion, clothing shopping, travel, the natural world, injury, illness, and health. Students continue to practice speaking about past actions and events and to learn to describe, compare, and express doubt, opinions, wishes, emotions, and recommendations. The course presents information about the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world and foments intercultural knowledge and communication.
SPAN 103HC students develop further their language skills related to the human body and health through projects and presentations.
