NURS 429 Transitions & Strategies for Professional Practice

This course emphasizes concepts that will be utilized for a student nurse to progress into the role of a professional licensed Registered Nurse. The course examines professional practice criteria, critical thinking, clinical judgment and decision-making. This includes examination of the professional role of nursing, with an emphasis on multiple strategies for success in taking professional examinations, such as but not limited to the NCLEX-RN, standardized exit exam, case studies, and class presentations.
