NURS 201 Dosage & Calculations:Mathematics for Nursing

This course introduces students to the knowledge and skills needed for medical calculations in nursing. This course reviews basic math skillsensuring students have a foundation on which to build to more complex concepts in calculations. A step-by-step approach to solving calculations is provided which allows students to use the most relevant techniques for their success. The application of reading medication labels, medication safety, performing medication calculations and algebraic functions are addressed.
