DR 300 New Play Development
The course is an elective. It allows students to engage in intensive training with professional theatre artists. The course encourages collaboration among the students and the instructor. With the supervision of the instructor, the students will use their training to devise an original or develop a new play with input from the playwright. The students present their work through an informal staging at the end of the semester. Departmental consent required.
