AI 120 Introduction to Computational Thinking

The course introduces students to the principles of computational thinking. The first half of the course is all about big ideas in Computational Thinking: how to describe a complex problem, understand what it is, and develop possible solutions using a computer. The second half of the course will cover a range of applications of computational thinking in different disciplines. Major areas of Computer Science and the major problems in each will be introduced and discussed.
