MUS 406 The Musician in Modern Society

Explores the role of the musician in today's society, focusing on different aspects of performing and teaching careers. Assists performers with the acquisition of basic knowledge and skills needed for self-management, private studio development, job interviews, auditions, preparation of publicity and promotional materials, resumes, budgeting, marketing, fund-raising, and grant writing. Offered on a rotational basis.
