MSCI 101P Microbiology with Lab

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental concepts of microbiology, with a particular emphasis on the structure, function, and classification of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. Topics include microbial metabolism, control of microbial growth, pathogenesis, and immunity. Laboratory exercises reinforce these core concepts and provide virtual hands-on experience in aseptic technique, culturing, staining, identification, and antimicrobial sensitivity testing.
