HSSS 204C Spirituality in a Secular Age
This course examines the dynamic landscape of spirituality in contemporary secular societies, examining how people attempt to find meaning, purpose, and transcendence outside of traditional religious frameworks. Drawing on sociology, philosophy, psychology, and cultural studies, we will investigate the rise of new spiritual identities, the persistence of spiritual practices among the religiously disaffiliated, and the intersections between spirituality, science, and modern culture. This section is for Honors students.
