HIST 496B Senior Thesis: Topics in 19th and 20th C European History
This section of senior thesis offers students the opportunity to pursue research into an aspect of nineteenth- and twentieth-century European history that intrigues them. The instructor will work with each student to develop a research project that addresses an issue of historical significance within the European context. The instructor will also work with each student to identify the appropriate primary and secondary sources for that project. Students should keep in mind that some topics in European history will require knowledge of a second language, but to the extent possible, we will work together to find sources appropriate to each project in English.
