SOC 720 Survey Research: Methodology and Application
This course offers a comprehensive review of scientific research methods principles and provides an in-depth exploration of survey research methodology. Students will engage with both theoretical and practical components of conducting survey research as they formulate a well-constructed research question and then design, construct, pilot test, refine, administer, and analyze data from a survey instrument based on this question's goals. The course culminates in a research presentation focused on discerning data-informed implications.
