TRS 491 Theology of World Religions

This course gives a survey of the four world religions mentioned by name in the Vatican II document Nostra Aetate: Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Judaism, and it focuses more extensively on recent developments in the Christian theology in engagement with these religions. We will discuss developments in the theology of religions, theology of inter-religious dialogue, and comparative theology.
