NURS 303 Global Health Nursing

The purpose of this course is to introduce undergraduate nursing students to key principles and topics in global health nursing including measures of global burden of disease, identification of key health problems and resources around the world. Additionally, they will gain an understanding of the role of determinants of health, and the delivery of quality, evidence-based patient-centered health care in resource limited areas with vulnerable populations.
