MLA 110 Professional Responsibility and Legal Ethics

This course provides an overview of the various ethical issues of the paralegal profession. Topics will include the unauthorized practice of law, attorney-client privilege, attorney-paralegal ethics and responsibility, and competence. Course Objectives: Understand and determine ethical violations. Describe the fundamental principles of legal ethics. Understanding of the working relationship between attorney, paralegal, and client.
