MID 110 Introduction to American Government

This course will provide an Introduction to the basic institutions and principles of American government. This course will provide students with a historical understanding of the origins of the government's framework, the specific duties of each branch and how they have changed and evolved over time. The course will also cover mediating institutions such as the news media, interest groups, as well as voting and public opinion.
