MHU 365 World Literature: Poetry and Prose

This course introduces the reader to major works and themes of earlier literature from the earliest imaginative writing of antiquity to the beginnings of the modern world. Important genres and styles are considered, as well as the elemental themes of the hero's quest and the theme of love. Writings from four continents and diverse cultures are represented.
