GER 301 Society and Culture in the German-Speaking World

This course provides students with the necessary historical background and social and cultural context to analyze contemporary issues in the German-speaking world. Students will study the appropriate historical and contextual framework in order to critically analyze contemporary issues. By completing a series of modules students will become familiar with both the key historical events and the contemporary debates in the German-speaking world.
