Office of Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry animates the university’s Catholic identity and mission by supporting all members of the community in their growth individually and as a campus to celebrate and live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Campus Ministry staff exercises its ministry in a variety of ways: through gathering the university community for prayer and liturgy; through catechesis and sacramental preparation; through social justice projects, community service, and mission trips; through pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, and retreats; and through a variety of social events. As we strive to grow into a more faithful community at Catholic University, it becomes obvious that Campus Ministry is not the work of a few, but of many. Residence Ministers and teams of student volunteers witness to the Gospel by sharing their time and energies with their peers. They do this primarily through personal presence and accompaniment.

Campus Ministry’s pastoral and professional staff, composed of clergy and laity, seeks to be a welcoming, encouraging, and enlivening presence for students, faculty, administrators, and staff.
