NURS 370 Community and Population Health Lecture

This course provides a foundation in population health, including community and population assessment, intervention and evaluation of culturally diverse and vulnerable populations. It explores the nurses role related to the care of vulnerable groups in the community. Emphasis is on primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of health problems, and concepts of community and population health affecting cultural diverse and vulnerable populations. Prerequisites: NURS 151, 256, 154A, 257 and concurrent enrollment in NURS372
