GER 488 Special Topics Seminar
This seminar is an intensive research seminar that focuses on a topic related to German literature[s] and culture[s]. The seminar will help students develop strong research skills (identifying a problem, defining a thesis, establishing a coherent methodological approach, selecting relevant primary and secondary sources, mastering MLA style). Students will also practice to prepare and deliver scholarly oral presentation and prepare a 10-pages seminar paper. The specific course content varies. Required for all graduating seniors. May be repeated with different content for credit.
