SEM 733 Editing Texts: Christian Near East

Introduction to the practice and theory of editing texts written in languages of the Christian Near East, with a focus on Syriac and Arabic. Other languages, including Armenian, Coptic, Ethiopic, and Georgian, may also be considered depending on student interest. Prerequisite: knowledge of Syriac or Arabic or consent of instructor.
