POL 559B Capstone Course In Human Rights

The course will draw together insights from the required courses in philosophy, theology, politics, and law to arrive at a coherent Catholic understanding of human rights. A significant focus will be on the role of the Holy See in international organizations. The course requires a major paper, the topic of which is to be chosen by the student in consultation with the professor. The paper will consider a current issue or topic from the Catholic human rights perspective.
