NURS 657D Advanced Health Assessment and Clinical Reasoning

In this course, students will acquire the advanced health assessment knowledge and skills they will use in nurse practitioner clinical practicum courses. Students will learn to obtain and document comprehensive and focused health histories, perform and document comprehensive and focused physical exams, perform health screenings, recognize normal assessment variations, interpret pathophysiologic changes, and perform critical thinking and clinical reasoning.
