MSE 511 Optical and Magnetic Materials: Properties and Synthesis

An introductory course to provide basic background on the behavior of materials; dielectric, optical, and magnetic properties. This course will emphasis on the structural-property relation of the materials. It will also provide the background on synthesis techniques for optical and magnetic materials.
