MDST 557 Summer Archaeology Field School

This course provides students with theoretical and hands-on training in medieval archaeology at an ongoing excavation site. Students train in the methods of stratigraphic excavation, recording, and finds processing with professional archaeologists in a field school setting. Further expert-led field trips introduce students to key archaeological and historical sites in the area.
